( ABOUT ) — ABU BAKAR · 凯 · KAI
I'm Abu Bakar — my friends call me Kai (凯), my Chinese name. Marketing strategist and AI architect, based in China, working with brands across the US, Germany and Canada.
My path is unusual on purpose. I started in computer science — building, debugging, automating — then took that engineering brain into paid media. That's why my campaigns come with real attribution infrastructure, why my reports come from systems instead of spreadsheets, and why AI isn't a buzzword in my deck but a layer I actually build.
With a B.S. in Computer Science and an MBA in Marketing, I work both sides of the line: the math that makes campaigns measurable and the psychology that makes them convert. Along the way I've published two peer-reviewed papers — one on AI-driven ad personalization, one on leadership in marketing teams.
Living in China while serving Western markets is my edge, not my footnote — cross-cultural instincts, global timezone coverage, and a front-row seat to the world's fastest-moving digital economy.
